Role
Summary

We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Warehouse Associate
to support our Aflex operations team. In this role, you will play an important
part in ensuring materials, components, and finished products are received,
stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Your work will directly support production flow, inventory accuracy,
customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery. You will help ensure that the
right materials are available at the right time, that inventory is handled with
care, and that warehouse activities are completed safely and in line with
standard operating procedures.

warehouse and manufacturing environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will
work closely with warehouse, assembly, production, quality, and shipping teams
to support a smooth and efficient flow of product through the business.

What
you’ll be doing

  • You will ensure finished hose assemblies meet Aflex and customer quality standards before release and shipment.
  • You will follow all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines when handling materials, tools, equipment, and warehouse vehicles to help maintain a safe working environment.
  • You will store and organize products, components, fittings, and materials in designated warehouse locations to support inventory accuracy and efficient use of space.
  • You will pick materials and components for customer orders and production requirements using pick lists, work orders, or system-generated instructions.
  • You will prepare items for shipment by packing products securely, labeling packages accurately, and following customer or internal packing requirements.
  • You will perform quality checks on materials, components, and finished products to help ensure they meet order requirements before shipment or movement to the next process.
  • You will support inventory accuracy by participating in cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, reporting issues, and helping maintain accurate inventory records.
  • You will operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • You will operate laser etching equipment to mark fittings and components in line with customer, product, or internal specifications.
  • You will complete documentation related to receiving, shipping, picking, packing, inventory, and material movement accurately and on time.
  • You will update systems or records as required to support traceability, inventory control, and order status visibility.
  • You will work closely with warehouse team members, Manufacturing technicians, supervisors, and other departments to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • You will identify material, inventory, quality, or process concerns and communicate them clearly to the appropriate team members.
  • You will help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment by supporting 5S standards and good housekeeping practices.
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas, identifying waste, and helping improve warehouse processes.
  • You will remain flexible and support other warehouse or production-related tasks as needed to help meet business and customer needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

what you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • You will need to bring strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling inventory, picking orders,
  • packing products, and completing documentation.
  • You will need to be comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or similar operational environment.
  • You will need to have experience following written procedures, work instructions, safety standards, or standard operating processes in a structured work environment.
  • You will need to be able to work safely in an active warehouse and manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and handling materials as required by the role.
  • You will need to be able to lift, carry, move, and organize materials safely, using proper equipment and safe working practices.
  • You will need to have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues across warehouse, production, quality, and operations teams.
  • You will need to be able to manage your time, stay organized, and maintain accuracy while working to daily priorities and deadlines.
  • You will need to be comfortable using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or similar material-handling equipment.
  • You will need to be comfortable using systems, scanners, or digital tools to update inventory, record material movement, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
  • You will need a practical, team-focused mindset with the ability to stay flexible and support changing business needs.
  • You will need to understand the importance of inventory accuracy, traceability, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a warehouse,
    logistics, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or inventory control role.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet
    jacks, hand trucks, or similar warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse
    management systems, or production tracking systems such as AX.
  • Experience with cycle counting, inventory
    reconciliation, material handling, or order picking.
  • Experience working with laser etching,
    product marking, labeling, or traceability requirements.
  • Exposure to customer-specification-driven
    or high-quality manufacturing environments.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to
    become certified.

This position offers a salary range of (USD 20.00 - 24.00 Hourly). Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate’s expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
