Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the accurate receiving, handling, organizing, staging, and movement of merchandise. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing products for delivery, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Receive, unload, inspect, and stage incoming merchandise

· Accurately pull products using pick lists and prepare merchandise for delivery routes and customer pickups

· Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while minimizing product damage

· Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory in designated locations

· Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely

· Assist with inventory counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times

· Move furniture and merchandise throughout the warehouse, showroom, and loading areas as needed

· Follow company safety procedures and report hazards, accidents, or damaged merchandise promptly

· Work collaboratively with delivery, showroom, and management teams to support operational needs

· Maintain productivity standards and complete assigned tasks within established timeframes

· Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in various warehouse functions as business needs change

· Adhere to attendance expectations and maintain reliable transportation to and from work

· Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities:

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy when pulling and staging merchandise

· Ability to read and follow pick lists, instructions, and warehouse documentation

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day

· Dependable work ethic and commitment to teamwork

· Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures

· Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with appropriate equipment

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor for extended periods of time

· Ability to work in varying indoor temperatures, including hot and cold warehouse conditions

· Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

· Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

· Ability to work scheduled warehouse hours and overtime as business needs require

· Ability to comply with company dress code and safety requirements, including slip-resistant footwear

· Availability for full-time work, including weekends as needed
