Job Description

RRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process work orders.
  • Follow work schedules and pull inventory to fill work orders.
  • Pull necessary chassis, brackets, etc from the warehouse and provide to production for assembly needs.
  • Follow proper steps & guidelines when filling work orders
  • Understands that First in First Out inventory method.
  • Rotate stock and/or consolidate pallets to remove overflow locations.
  • Organize all metal (chassis, brackets, etc) upon receipt.
  • Works with receiving, purchasing, and accounting groups to resolve receipt discrepancies based on quantity issues.
  • Move in/out stock with in the IQMS system or equivalent on a daily basis.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be comfortable working with various computer systems.
  • Must have demonstrated good planning, organizational skills and the ability to work logically and systematically with good time management
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workload and manage incoming requests from various sources.
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Must be able to and like to work independently.
  • Must be able to solve problems creatively
  • Fork lift experience is preferred but not required and training would be provided on the job.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-5 years of material planning or warehouse management preferred
