JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in daily warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate handling, movement, and preparation of inventory. This position supports efficient order fulfillment, inventory control, and safe warehouse operations while working in varied temperature environments including freezers, coolers, and ambient areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload inventory from delivery trucks and trailers
• Safely move inventory throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and/or forklifts
• Accurately pick products using pick tickets and prepare orders for shipment
• Pack customer orders according to company standards and specifications
• Store inventory in designated locations following warehouse organization systems
• Work in varied temperature environments, including freezers and coolers, as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Follow all safety procedures, food handling standards, and company policies
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and general warehouse duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification a plus or willingness to be trained)
• Comfortable working in cold environments (freezers/coolers) and fluctuating temperatures
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions (pick tickets)
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, or a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications related to inventory management are a plus).

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with exposure to freezers, coolers, and ambient temperatures
• Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
