Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations under the direction of the Warehouse Lead. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and capable of handling physical work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, forklift operation experience, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Lead with daily warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming materials and products
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Track inventory and update warehouse records using computer systems or inventory software
  • Load and unload trucks and move heavy materials throughout the warehouse
  • Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead
  • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
  • Support other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or experience operating a forklift required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory systems
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, and/or move materials up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting requiring assistance or equipment.
  • Frequent operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, ladders and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification may be required or obtained through company training.
  • Requires the ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and staging areas.
  • May require working indoors and outdoors depending on shipment deliveries, loading areas, or warehouse needs.
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, scanners, and inventory management systems for tracking materials and updating records.
  • Must adhere to all company safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting productivity expectations.
  • May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or schedule flexibility based on business demands and operational needs.
