Responsibilities:

• Pick and stage products and materials using electric pallet jack.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Daily, inspect assigned electric pallet jack.
• Operate electric pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Efficiently stack and locate picked products to the appropriate areas.
• Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are picked.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location: On-site, Austell, GA

Schedule: 1st Shift

Compensation: $18.50 hourly

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
