Job Description

The primary role of the Warehouse Associate is to receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. They are also responsible for the efficient load out of installation teams as well as property maintenance.

About You
(Who we're looking for)

  • We are looking for someone that is a proactive Warehouse associate. You enjoy tidying up after jobs and take pride in how your area looks. You have a strong sense of integrity and don’t turn a blind eye when things need to be done the right way.
  • You value safety over “quickness” when working in a Warehouse. Rolling up your sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty is your thing and are always looking for the next job to accomplish for the day.
  • Working independently from time to time does not intimidate you.

Essential Functions
(What you would be in charge of)

  • You will maintain the warehouse, office, and ground with general cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • You know how to operate a forklift, lawn maintenance machinery, and snow removal equipment efficiently and safely.
  • You will become knowledgeable of the warehouse layout and will sort carpets, materials or items on racks, shelves according to ACS specifications
  • When our Installers arrive for dispatch you will be responsible for preparing their items for shipment
  • Any deliveries received you will be responsible for proper storage
  • You will be responsible for any additional materials or orders that need to be driven to the Customers home or a THD store with the use of a Company vehicle

Qualifications
(Your experience may be similar to)

  • You have worked in a warehouse (and loved it)
  • You know how to operate a forklift and currently have certification
  • You have an understanding of how to use a computer and are able to do basic entries (we created our system so it is EASY to learn)

  • You are a team-player that is ready to SAY YES and are not afraid of challenges
  • You are an early bird (this position starts at 6am) (don’t worry, we have a Keurig with many coffee options)
