Position Type: Full TimeWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Attendant to support the daily operations of our warehouse and yard. This role focuses on assisting with inventory, receiving materials, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Support: Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations including organizing materials, pulling orders, and maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
Inventory Assistance: Help track inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify materials against purchase orders, and report any issues or damages.
Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials as needed, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed.
Shop Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in both warehouse and yard areas.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe workplace for all team members.

Qualifications
Experience: Previous warehouse, shop, or construction yard experience preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials regularly.
Software: Basic computer skills required; experience with Sage is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
