
The Warehouse Associate (Material Handler) is responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of big bag unloaders on the 2nd floor, as well as changing big bags throughout the day. Pull in components from staging area during tea changeovers. Assist Automation Engineering Technicians wherever needed to minimize machine downtime.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSet up bulk bags on the 2nd Floor. Clean, sanitize the production equipment. Load bulk bags onto the 2nd Floor.Drain tea from the IMA machines when necessary.Set up component carts at the beginning of the shift and deliver to the IMA machines. Pull in components from the staging area over to the production area.Weight out components, and return components back to the staging area during product changeover. Responsible for sorting cartons in the reject box and returning to proper machines. Weight out rejected components. Perform data transaction using D365 with handheld device and on PC. Follow all company policies and procedures, safety and cGMPs.Keep warehouse organized and material flowing.Load/Unload trucks, as neededPerform any and all other assigned duties as required.REQUIREMENTS
Experience/Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred2+ years production experience preferredMust be mechanically inclinedSpeaking/ reading/ writing English skills as well as basic math are required
Attention to detail, good communication skills, team player, and ability to follow directions.Basic computer skills.Forklift experience requiredTechnical Skills:Must be computer literate in software such as Microsoft Office and MRP systems such as Microsoft AX Expert in various fork lift operations Travel Requirements (if any)Extensive travel to the corporate office in California may be required in the first few months for training purposesOffice Hours/Location:This position is based in Rocky Mount, VA and is onsite Monday through Friday supporting a three-shift operation.Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.Physical/Mental Requirements:
