A&C Plastics is a value-based plastic distributor that has been growing steadily for over 50 years—and we’re not slowing down. We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations.
This role is hands-on and leadership-driven—you’ll be responsible for keeping the warehouse running efficiently, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the team to get orders out the door the right way, every time.

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

COMPENSATION: Base Salary + Benefits 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Oversee pulling and packaging teams to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately and on time
• 
  Manage receiving operations to ensure material is checked in and stocked efficiently
• 
  Review pulling reports and address accuracy issues as needed
• 
  Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles
• 
  Conduct and document monthly safety meetings
• 
  Print and distribute order and shipping documents for warehouse processing
• 
  Push completed orders through invoicing in the ERP system
• 
  Coordinate freight pickups and communicate with carriers
• 
  Inspect outgoing shipments and verify against documentation
• 
  Assist with routing of local deliveries
• 
  Operate a forklift to pick, transport, and package materials
• 
  Maintain internal record-keeping systems
• 
  Ensure proper packaging procedures for safe transport of materials
• 
  Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse
• 
  Provide tracking updates to the sales team
• 
  Resolve delivery and shipping issues as they arise
• 
  Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and ERP reconciliation
• 
  Lead physical inventory processes
• 
  Cross-train across all warehouse functions and drive process improvements

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Previous warehouse and leadership experience required
• 
  Forklift experience is a plus
• 
  Clean driving record required
• 
  Must be 20+ years old
• 
  Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• 
  Willing to travel to Houston, Texas, if necessary
• 
  Strong attendance, punctuality and reliability (this is a big deal here)
• 
  Ability to delegate, lead, and hold team members accountable
• 
  Hands-on mindset—willing to jump in wherever needed
• 
  Strong sense of ownership and urgency
• 
  Team-oriented with a service mindset
• 
  Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accuracy environment
