Job Description

As a Warehouse Assistant within the Distribution Center team in Singapore, you will support safe, accurate and efficient daily warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Senior Associate, you will help ensure that goods are received, stored, checked and prepared for delivery in line with operational and workplace safety requirements.

What impact you can create at Chanel

  • Perform standard warehouse logistics activities such as managing inventory control, including receiving, inspecting and storing goods, inventory transfer.
  • To perform quality and quantity check prior to delivery (pick & pack) and upon acceptance at warehouse.
  • Perform scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly physical cycle count
  • To carry out housekeeping of warehouse and maintenance of equipments.
  • Ensure daily tasks are performed in compliance with workplace safety and health requirements
  • Support the supervisors with any ad hoc operational task within stipulated timeline

What you will bring

  • “N” or “O” Level qualification, or higher, preferably in logistics or a relevant field of study.
  • At least one to two years of relevant experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A meticulous and adaptable working style, with the ability to prioritise, take initiative, manage pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • The ability to work independently and demonstrate practical problem-solving skills.
