The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Fairy Meadow warehouse. This role is essential to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
Prepare and dispatch shipments accurately and on time
Receive incoming goods and verify their condition and accuracy
Manage inventory, including new and returned products
Identify products and maintain strong product knowledge
Enter and maintain accurate data in the inventory management system
Forklift Operations:
Willingness to obtain a forklift licence (if not already held)
Maintain high safety standards and operational competency
Technical & Systems Skills:
Use Microsoft Windows tools for file handling and data transfer
Manage and maintain documentation on MS SharePoint
Create labels and format documents using MS Word
Use MS Excel for data management and reporting
Manage communications via MS Outlook and MS Teams
Use logistics platforms (e.g. TNT, FedEx, Mainfreight)
Work with warehouse management systems (SAP experience desirable)
Communication & Additional Tasks:
Use mobile devices for photos, QR scanning, and task recording
Use mobile applications to complete and track assigned tasks
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Intermediate to high computer literacy
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous warehouse experience is desirable
