The Warehouse Assistant plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the warehouse and facilitates the storage, packaging, receipt and delivery of goods. You are responsible for handling and organising incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing orders, assist in maintaining inventory records and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance of standard operating procedures and proper storage of goods.
Receive and check accuracy of incoming shipments and report any discrepancies.
Ensure goods are safely and properly organized and stored in designated locations.
Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stocktake and ensure inventory accuracy.
Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items.
Pack orders securely, adhering to specific packing instructions and quality standards.
Maximize usage of the warehouse, perform daily housekeeping activities and maintenance of tools and equipment. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Ensure Warehouse Management System and stock cards are promptly updated.
Support general warehouse operations and adhoc duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
Minimum GCE N Level or equivalent.
Must have hands-on experience in Warehouse/Logistics Operations.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
Detailed and meticulous with ability to organise and prioritise
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Working Location: Upper Paya Lebar area
Working Hours: 8am to 5.30pm (5 days a week)
