Warehouse and Logistics Apprentice

Main learning opportunities:

  • To complete the modules within the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) (ST0259)
  • To understand Good Distribution Practices and demonstrate how to apply the principles
  • To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • To participate in training in all aspects of Warehousing including forklift, Health and Safety, Manual Handling etc.
  • To understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems
  • To help to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state
  • To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
  • To proactively engage and take responsibility for learning by seeking support as required
  • To demonstrate a positive and willing attitude

Qualifications & aptitude:

  • 5 GCSEs at D grade or above including Maths and English (flexible for right candidate)
  • High attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • Positive and willing to learn
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to learn

Time commitment:

• Travel to Warehouse location in Water beach, Cambridge -Monday to Friday.

• 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes and a morning break of 15 minutes (depending on age and in line with the working time directive)
