Do you have experience managing warehouse materials and are great at staying organized? In this role, you spend your days performing duties associated with receipt, inventory, ordering, and stocking traffic goods. Apply today and join our amazing Transportation team!
Maintain an adequate supply of parts, materials, and equipment associated with Traffic Operations and provide reports on their usage and demands.
Assist with preparing Purchase Orders and ensuring funds are aligned with our budgets.
Coordinate repairs of rotating assets, manage POs, request estimates, pack, ship, and receive equipment returns.
Assist in the continuing development of the Traffic Operations warehouse function.
Coordinate with other County departments to reduce duplication of warehouse/inventory service and costs.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED or its equivalent.
Three (3) years experience in the warehouse and/or clerical experience.
A valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire.
Ability to obtain Forklift certification within six (6) months of employment.
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
Starting Pay: $22.06/hour
