2nd Shift Case & Label & Warehouse Supervisor

Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Case & Label & Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more! Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!

Responsible for all the day-to-day labeling functions from Brite to a finished items. Also oversee Warehouse Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day operations in labeling

• Responsible for label line efficiencies

• Order and inventory direct materials scheduling label lines to meet deadlines

• Responsible for overseeing the Maintenance of the labeling area

• Responsible for managing labeling personnel scheduling

• Responsible for reconciliation between GEM & INCS inventory

• Ensure compliance with Safety Regulations and Quality procedures

• Work with the Quality department to communicate any product issues

• EOM Reports (downtime records, line changes, etc.), Monthly Production Report
• Physical inventory preparations

• Chep Pallets, Label coordinator backup

• Participate in the Safety committee, Quality committee, Can damage committee

• Other duties as required or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of labeling or ability to learn requirements

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Knowledge of or ability to learn Gem-INCS, OSTAT

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to lead a team

• Must be flexible with good organizational skills

• Capable of making accurate and calculated decisions

• High School education or equivalent. Some post-high school education preferred

• 5+ years of experience as a Leadperson or Supervisor in a related field preferred

Wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $70,000 - $80,000/year

Hours: Mon-Fri 6pm -4am. Some weekend work will be required during the busy season.
