Take ownership of warehouse operations and inventory while staying hands-on in the day-to-day.
If you have solid warehouse and inventory experience and you're ready for a role where you can take greater ownership, this could be your next step.
We're looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Dubbo. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while also taking responsibility for inventory accuracy, systems, priorities and continuous improvement.
We're a proudly Australian biotechnology business with regional roots and global reach. From our facilities in Dubbo, we manufacture and supply specialised biological materials that support life-saving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and research used around the world.
Our people don't just manufacture products—they help improve and save lives.
Our warehouse is more than a place where goods are received, stored and dispatched. It plays an important role in making sure our Production teams have the materials they need, our inventory can be trusted and our products and materials are handled safely and accurately.
As Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator, you'll be hands-on in the operation while taking ownership of how inventory is controlled and how the warehouse runs day to day.
You'll work closely with Production and Supply Chain, coordinate with suppliers and freight providers, provide day-to-day leadership within your area and help identify better ways of working.
You'll be responsible for:

Experience in a manufacturing or Production-supporting warehouse would be particularly valuable. We'd also be interested in experience with inventory planning and replenishment, stocktakes and cycle counting, purchasing and supplier coordination, process improvement, LEAN/5S/Kanban, regulated or quality-controlled environments, leading or training others, or freight and export logistics.
You'll need to be comfortable with the physical, hands-on nature of warehouse work and able to safely perform the inherent requirements of the role.
A current forklift licence would be useful, but isn't essential if you're willing and able to obtain one.
Why Join Maverick?
This is a hands-on warehouse role with the opportunity to take ownership beyond the day-to-day tasks.
You'll have the opportunity to combine your practical warehouse experience with greater ownership of inventory, systems and how the operation works. You'll be able to see the impact of what you do across Production and the wider business, while contributing ideas and improvements of your own.
You'll see the direct impact of good warehouse and inventory management, helping ensure Production has what it needs, when it's needed. For someone coming from a warehouse, stores, inventory control or senior storeperson background who is looking for more ownership without moving away from hands-on work, this could be a particularly good next step.
