About the team Our Warehouse Operations team is the heartbeat of our fulfillment process, expertly managing everything from inbound shipments to outbound deliveries, including returns, picking, packing, and shipping. Their precision and dedication ensure every customer receives the perfect fit, on time, so they can feel confident and look their best for life’s most memorable moments. By keeping operations seamless and customer-focused, this team plays a pivotal role in delivering experiences that help our customers own their most special occasions
About the role The Black Tux is seeking a Warehouse Ambassador to support Inbound Shoe operations at our Pittston, PA warehouse. The Ambassador is responsible for monitoring all productivity and quality of all outgoing inventory. This position will also ensure that orders are leaving with the customer in mind to uphold our high-quality standards. The position will report to the Area Manager.  An ideal candidate will serve as a positive example of performance, safety, and reliability for the rest of the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Train new and existing associates on functions
  • Retrain associates who need additional help or training
  • Ensure all labor is conducted following the floor plan
  • Maintains 5S conditions of the work area 
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same
  • Notify the lead or manager about quality and/or safety issues
  • Follow the standard operating procedures and notify a lead or manager in case of any challenges performing the function as prescribed in SOP
  • Maintain work pace at an assigned throughput (TPH) rate while maintaining the highest level of quality
  • Notify the lead of the shortage of supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead or manager, such as additional departments you have been trained in
  • Must be willing to fill in for the lead in their absence
  • Ability to work with others as a team for operational needs, project initiatives, or concerns

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Bilingual ( Spanish/ English) is required
  • Previous experience in training  or a leadership position 
  • Fast and efficient while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and close attention to detail
  • Naturally curious to understand themself and their work better 
  • Understands general warehouse concepts such as 5S, Lean, PPE, MSDS, Root Cause Analysis - Korber knowledge is a plus
  • Collaborative nature, both when working with others and taking on a project 
  • Takes pride in punctuality for themselves and their team
  • Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Sheets, and/or Excel, Google Docs
