We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Imperial, PA.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, working 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Your Role at Batesville:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for working under general direction of the Regional Logistics Manager, providing diversified customer service, secretarial, and clerical duties for our warehouse facilities in this region. This position requires you to maintain accurate inventory records, provide excellent customer service, and utilize Microsoft Office tools along with JD Edwards system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the warehouse facilities by performing clerical and secretarial duties including the following:
    • Maintain accurate inventory files and reports, retrieving information as required.
    • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including mailing of notification letters to customer base.
    • Order and maintain office supplies.
    • Manage facilities and supervisor calendars.
  • Ensure timely exchange of monthly data among business partners, field inquiries from colleagues.
  • Handling inbound calls to the facilities.
  • Coordinate meetings and events.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools and JD Edwards system.
  • Provide customer service support to customers.
  • Minor warehouse duties as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic experience with calendar management
  • Customer Service experience

Nice to Haves:

  • Basic experience with JD Edwards system
  • Basic experience with inventory management
  • Experience working within a distribution center
