CPMC-California Pacific Med Center - Mission BernalProvides clerical and receptionist duties in a nursing unit. Responsible for knowing the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the Medical Center. Contributes to the development and maintenance of a communication system that promotes positive intra and interdepartmental working relationships.
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Recent experience or education as a Ward Clerk in health care environment or equivalent.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Basic computer skills required.
Knowledge of English language w/strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, problem solve and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in a diverse population.
Training skills required.
Basic keyboarding and computer skills
Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.

Pay Range is $30.30 to $40.52 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
