Priory Hospital Hayes Grove has an opportunity for a Ward Clerk to join our team.
Priory Hospital Hayes Grove, Hayes, Bromley is a mental health and addiction rehab hospital providing residential, day care and outpatient treatment for conditions including depression, eating disorders, drug and alcohol addiction, and private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with Hayes railway station offering direct links to London Bridge and connections to Bromley South and Croydon, as well as local bus routes serving the surrounding area. The M25 and wider South East road network are also easily accessible.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Prepare admission and discharge documentation
- Record patient admissions and discharges on the relevant IT systems
- Arrange sick certificates for patients on admission and throughout their stay as required
- Obtain patient records from other hospitals as required
- Ensure that all communication is within the boundaries of patient confidentiality, and seek guidance when unsure

The following experience would be beneficial
- Previous administrative experience in a similar setting is advantageous
