Ward Clerk (PRN)

We are seeking a dedicated and organized PRN Ward Clerk to join our healthcare team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to support our hospital operations on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner

- Manage patient registration, admission, and discharge documentation

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures

- Answer and direct phone calls, handle inquiries, and relay messages promptly

- Assist with billing, coding, and insurance documentation as needed

- Support the clinical team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth ward operations

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality standards

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certification is a plus

- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
