Title: Wallcovering Designer

Schedule – Fairfield, New Jersey (Hybrid- 3 days in office)

Pay $68,000 - $78,000 + Bonus

An exceptional opportunity for a highly creative designer to contribute to the development of luxury wallcovering collections defined by craftsmanship, innovation, and refined aesthetics. This hybrid role combines artistic vision with strategic product development, shaping sophisticated interiors through thoughtfully curated designs, materials, and textures.

Responsibilities

• 
  Research emerging design movements, artisanal techniques, and market trends to inform collection development
• 
  Conceptualize and develop elevated wallcovering collections aligned with seasonal direction and brand positioning
• 
  Translate sales insights and consumer trends into commercially relevant, design-forward products
• 
  Collaborate closely with design, marketing, sourcing, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle
• 
  Create artwork repeats, pattern layouts, and detailed product specifications with precision and attention to detail
• 
  Source and cultivate relationships with premier mills, vendors, and material partners
• 
  Oversee product development from initial concept through sampling and production
• 
  Present collections and product narratives to support internal training and seasonal launches
• 
  Maintain exceptional product quality while resolving development and production challenges

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor of Fine Arts or related creative discipline
• 
  5+ years of experience within design, textiles, wallcoverings, interiors, or luxury home categories
• 
  Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AVA Cadcam, and Microsoft Office
• 
  Strong artistic foundation in drawing, color, composition, and materiality
• 
  Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
