Job Description

WAITING STAFF - DICKEN'S INN, ST. KATHERINE'S DOCKS, LONDON
Fixed term contract until end of September 2026!

Please note this is 20h a week MINIMUM contract - succesfull candidates may be expected to have thier hours increased, depending on business needs.

Pay Rate: £12.85 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £14.05 per hour.

Please note that shifts are between 9am and 1am. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

ABOUT YOU:

  • As a Waiting Staff, you will believe in the power of people & believe that today is going to be a good day.
  • You will be passionate and kind whilst always ensuring that all guests leave having had the best of times.
  • Due to some responsibilities within the Waiting Staff role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and be able to serve alcohol.
  • A good level of spoken English is needed to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues and to support safe and efficient service.

ABOUT THE WAITING STAFFSTAFF STAFF ROLE: 

  • Engage with customers and provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Set up event spaces and prepare for service to ensure everything is ready to a high standard.
  • Help create a memorable and special experience for guests celebrating important occasions, including weddings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Keep all areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • Take customer orders through table service and support guests using QR code ordering.
  • Run food from the pass to tables efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and serve drinks as part of the restaurant service.
