With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond serving food and beverages to our guests. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest. You will provide attentive and personalized service, maintain excellent guest engagement, and ensure that all service standards are consistently upheld in line with our company’s core values. This role involves taking orders, delivering food and beverages, coordinating with the kitchen and service team, supporting special events, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations on the restaurant floor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a friendly and memorable dining experience.
• Present oneself in a manner that enhances the guest experience and reflects the standards of the resort.
• Ensure all mise-en-place is correctly prepared and the assigned station is fully set up prior to service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve guests according to the resort’s service standards.
• Demonstrate genuine hospitality and provide attentive, personalized service always.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including daily specials and promotions.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the restaurant and service stations are maintained at the highest standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
• Coordinate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Remain updated on resort events, in-house guests, arrivals, departures, and daily activities relevant to restaurant operations.
• Report any breakages, maintenance issues, or equipment concerns to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Attend and participate in all assigned team briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
• Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Always demonstrate a professional attitude and appearance when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Support the resort's sustainability initiatives by being conscious of energy and water conservation.
• Always maintain the highest levels of personal grooming and hygiene.
• Ensure that company and statutory health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently followed in all work areas.
• To assist with any other duties that are required by a member of the management team.

A Suitable candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment. Strong F&B knowledge is a must. Should have excellent personal and interpersonal skills. Should be able to build strong relationship with high profile and diverse clientele. Should be a dynamic team player and able to provide the highest standard of service to our guests. Excellent communication in English language is required, and an additional language will be highly regarded.
