Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join its team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you record and complete orders, as well as caring for the service area and space. As an ideal candidate you should be able to constantly monitor guests’ needs and to transform their visit into a unique experience with care by following the company’s SOPs. Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options, including specials and promotions
• Take accurate food and drink orders and deliver them to the kitchen and bar staff
• Ensure the prompt and efficient service of food and beverages
• Assist with the setup and clean up of tables and dining areas
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Knowledge of food and beverage menu items and preparation methods
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
