WAITER / WAITRESS

We are hiring Waiters/Waitresses on behalf of a respected employer based in Montenegro and Croatia The ideal candidates should be service-oriented, professional, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

• Verify patrons' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.

• Check with customers to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns.

• Clean tables, counters, and dining areas after patrons finish dining.

• Collect payments from customers and process transactions accurately.

• Prepare and present itemized checks, including meal costs and sales taxes.

• Prepare and serve hot, cold, and mixed drinks, including chilling bottles of wine.

• Present menus to patrons, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations upon request.

• Serve food and beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards.

• Take customer orders, either by writing on order slips, memorizing, or entering into a POS system for kitchen staff.

• Assist with special requests, including tableside preparation of dishes if required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role is an advantage.

• Strong listening and communication skills. Knowledge of English language is required for the position.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service and anticipate guest needs.

• Knowledge of basic food and beverage service etiquette.

• Understanding of hygiene and food safety regulations.

• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and carry trays.

Working Conditions:

• Location: Montenegro and Croatia

• Full-time, seasonal contract with the possibility of extension.

• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Physically demanding role requiring standing, bending, and carrying trays for extended periods.

• Primary work locations include restaurants, hotels, beachside cafes, or lounges.

• One day off per week.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: 700 - 1000 EUR per month (based on experience and employer).

• Accommodation provided.

• Daily meals included.

• Transportation provided (at least one-way).
