About the Role

As a Section Waiter at Cibaria Restaurant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences while managing your own section during service. Working alongside an experienced team, you will provide warm, professional hospitality while maintaining the high standards expected within a contemporary premium dining environment.

This role is ideally suited to hospitality professionals with previous experience in fine dining, premium hotel restaurants, or high-volume upscale venues who enjoy the pace and energy of a busy service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service from arrival through to departure.
• Take food and beverage orders with confidence and accuracy.
• Demonstrate strong menu knowledge and provide recommendations tailored to guest preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining premium service standards.
• Manage your own section and ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Build genuine rapport with guests and anticipate their needs.
• Work collaboratively with restaurant, bar, and kitchen teams during busy service periods.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards throughout the venue.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a premium dining, fine dining, luxury hotel, or high-volume restaurant environment.
• Proven ability to confidently manage a section while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge, with a passion for hospitality.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and service excellence are critical.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
• The ability to remain calm and organised during peak service periods.
• A collaborative team player who contributes positively to service outcomes.
• Current RSA Certificate.
