As part of our Club’s hospitality team, the Waitstaff is crucial in providing exceptional dining service to our members and guests. You will help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere while ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently. Your professionalism and attention to detail contribute to the overall customer experience and reputation of the Club.
What key responsibilities does this role have?
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all members and guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them in a timely manner.
- Assist with setting up, clearing, and maintaining clean and presentable dining areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns with a positive and proactive approach.
- Process payments accurately using cash and POS systems.
- Support the bar and kitchen teams when necessary to ensure seamless operations.
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Ideal background…
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, club, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of food and beverage service standards.
- Familiarity with RSA requirements and customer service best practices.
- Having an up-to-date RSA would be beneficial, but not necessary.
- Experience handling cash and electronic payments is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
