Baton Rouge Polymers North produces approximately 5 billion pounds of high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, specialty elastomers, and polypropylene annually. High-density polyethylene and polypropylene are used to produce end products such as milk containers, recyclable food containers, diapers and more

As the second largest employer in the state, our daily challenges include safely operating eight interconnected sites on a round-the-clock basis. We’re required to constantly adjust and respond to fluctuating markets and resource availability. We oversee the production of polyethylene and polypropylene, while constantly searching for ways to improve and optimize our operations.

As a Process Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our processing units. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling plant equipment and processes to meet production targets while maintaining strict adherence to standards. Your role is essential to maintaining safe plant operations, protecting the environment, and delivering high-quality products to our customers.
You be enrolled in a Basic Operator Training Class when you start employment. This program will include all of the following:
