This position will serve as support staff for the admin positions in the office. Specifically, the position will assist with proposal review and submission, grant tracking, and project reporting and evaluation.

Job Responsibilities

-Assist the Associate Director of Research and Sponsored Research Coordinator the in the submission of grants through the OSP process and to granting agencies and organizations as appropriate. Serve as a backup for these positions when they are unavailable due to planned absence (such as illness or vacation). Maintain training on related programming, including Geaux Grants. (25%)

- Assist in tracking grants and programming. Update changes to work plans and end dates in the necessary databases. (20%)

- Assist the Associate Director of Operations in project reporting to meet funder requirements. Maintain communication with researchers funded under the omnibus. Develop and update tracking mechanisms for project progress. (25%).

- Assist in the development of materials to highlight program accomplishments. Process reports submitted by researchers and staff for potential program highlights. Work on innovative ways to present information compiled from researchers. (25%).

- Other duties as assigned. (5%).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
