Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management Coordinator / Compliance Analyst with a strong background in IT security operations, vulnerability management, and technology risk support within enterprise environments. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to coordinate remediation activities, track vulnerabilities, and support operational security and compliance initiatives across the organization.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, execution-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong communication skills, and is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, tracking processes, and supporting security governance activities.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)

Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST


Pay: T4: $59 // IC: $67.5
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate intake, analysis, triage, and tracking of identified security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and application environments.
  • Partner with application and infrastructure teams to support timely remediation activities and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed within required timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vulnerability, issue, and exception records within tracking and workflow management tools.
  • Monitor remediation progress, identify risks, delays, or blockers, and escalate issues as required.
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and reporting for operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Support audit, compliance, and control testing activities by preparing documentation and coordinating required evidence.
  • Track exception requests, approvals, and associated remediation timelines.
  • Prepare concise, fact-based executive reporting and status updates for leadership and governance teams.
  • Support change management activities related to vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives.
  • Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve operational and process-related issues within established guidelines.
  • Work independently across a range of operational and compliance-related tasks, including unique or complex scenarios.
  • Support additional compliance, governance, and risk initiatives as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in vulnerability management, IT security operations, technology risk, or compliance support roles.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes, remediation workflows, and core security concepts.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders in fast-paced enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and interpreting queries and reporting outputs.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with executive reporting, operational metrics, and dashboard development.

Preferred

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar workflow/ticketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
  • Exposure to audit support, compliance testing, or control validation activities.
  • Knowledge of Co-Pilot technologies or AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Understanding of COBIT or other IT governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting compliance or operational governance initiatives within large enterprise environments.

Education

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in security, governance, or risk management are considered an asset.
