About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic VPK Lead Teacher to join our growing Zephyrhills team! As a Lead Teacher at The Learning Experience, you’ll have the opportunity to guide your own classroom and inspire children to Learn, Play, and Grow.

As a Lead Teacher, You Will:

• Lead your assigned classroom with confidence and creativity, implementing the L.E.A.P.® Curriculum designed to support social-emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
  
  
• Use our beloved TLE characters to make learning engaging and meaningful.
  
  
• Design daily lesson plans and maintain child progress documentation.
  
  
• Build strong relationships with families through ongoing communication and parent conferences.
  
  
• Ensure classroom compliance with DCF standards, health, and safety requirements.
  
  
• Mentor and guide Assistant Teachers to maintain consistency and excellence.
  
  
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and joyful atmosphere where children feel safe and confident.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an early childhood classroom.
  
  
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• Active CDA credential (or willingness to obtain)
  
  
• Completion DCF 45-hour training

• Completed VPK Literacy Training

• Meet all state licensing and Level 2 fingerprinting requirements.
  
  
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  
  
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
