The Vice President, Wealth Management Advice & Product Specialists provides strategic leadership for an enterprise advisor enablement organization that enhances the effectiveness of Financial Advisors through specialized expertise in wealth management products, advisory platforms, financial planning strategies, investment solutions, and consultative client growth support.

This Vice President establishes the long-term vision, operating model, governance framework, organizational strategy, talent model, and performance standards for the Advice & Product Specialist organization. The role partners with executive leaders across Wealth Management and supporting functions to strengthen advisor capabilities, increase adoption of advisory solutions, improve client outcomes, and drive profitable business growth. The position serves as an internal advisor enablement leader and does not provide investment advice directly to clients or maintain client relationships.

What you will bring

  • Establish the long-term strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the Wealth Management Advice & Product Specialist organization.

  • Lead an enterprise advisor enablement organization supporting Wealth Management growth objectives.

  • Develop organizational strategies that improve advisor productivity, increase advisory solution adoption, and strengthen client outcomes.

  • Define enterprise operating models, governance standards, organizational structure, service delivery models, and engagement frameworks.

  • Translate enterprise Wealth Management strategy into scalable advisor enablement capabilities.

  • Lead organizational transformation initiatives that modernize advisor support, consultation models, and specialist services.

  • Evaluate industry trends, competitive practices, advisor needs, and regulatory developments to evolve organizational strategy.

  • Serve as an executive advisor to Wealth Management leadership regarding advisor enablement strategy, investment solution adoption, and organizational capability development.

  • Build, lead, and develop a team for Wealth Management Advice & Product Specialists.

  • Establish workforce strategy, succession planning, leadership development, organizational design, and talent management across multiple leadership levels.

  • Allocate organizational resources to align with enterprise priorities and changing business needs.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and consultative excellence.

  • Establish enterprise standards supporting Financial Advisors throughout advisory client growth, retention, and client servicing activities.

  • Lead development of scalable consultation models that improve advisor confidence and effectiveness in presenting wealth management solutions.

  • Define enterprise best practices for financial planning integration, product positioning, solution consultation, and holistic wealth management conversations.

  • Ensure specialists provide consistent, compliant, and high-quality consultative support across all markets.

  • Lead initiatives that improve adoption of advisory platforms, managed solutions, retirement planning strategies, lending solutions, and wealth management products.

  • Partner with executive leadership across Wealth Management, Investments, Product Management, Advisory Platforms, Client Growth, Financial Planning, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Learning & Development, Risk Management, and Compliance to develop integrated advisor enablement strategies.

  • Provide insights regarding advisor experience, product utilization, market trends, and advisor needs to influence enterprise strategy and platform enhancements.

  • Establish governance frameworks, service standards, operating metrics, and performance scorecards.

  • Define key performance indicators measuring advisor engagement, advisor capability, consultation effectiveness, product adoption, organizational productivity, client outcomes, and business growth.

  • Utilize analytics to optimize organizational performance, prioritize investments, and identify strategic opportunities.

  • Lead annual business planning, financial planning, budgeting, workforce planning, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, supervisory expectations, and risk management standards.

  • Communicate organizational strategy, business results, and advisor enablement outcomes to executive leadership.

  • Represent the organization in governance committees, strategic planning initiatives, and enterprise transformation efforts.

  • Lead organizational change initiatives supporting evolving Wealth Management strategies and advisor business models.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in wealth management, investment advisory, advisory platform management, product management, financial planning, advisor consulting, client growth enablement, or related financial services.

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience leading managers and professional organizations.

  • FINRA Series 7, Series 24 and Series 65/66 (or equivalent) licenses.

  • FINRA Fingerprinting required.

  • CFP®, CFA®, CIMA®, ChFC®, or equivalent advanced wealth management designation.

  • Demonstrated success developing organizational strategy and leading enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.

  • Extensive knowledge of wealth management products, managed accounts, advisory platforms, retirement planning, investment solutions, lending solutions, and financial planning methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leaders across multiple business functions.

  • Proven experience establishing organizational governance, operating models, performance management frameworks, and workforce strategies.

  • Strong financial management, strategic planning, organizational leadership, and executive communication skills.

  • Experience leading enterprise advisor enablement, product consulting, advisory platform strategy, or client growth enablement organizations.

  • Experience leading large-scale organizational change within Wealth Management or Financial Services.

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
