Business Function

Job Role

  • Experienced Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years of proven experience managing large-scale, complex technology projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • The successful candidate will lead end-to-end delivery of strategic technology programmes involving multiple business and technology stakeholders, third-party vendors and geographically distributed teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale migration and transformation programmes, with experience in loyalty, rewards, points or customer engagement platform migrations considered highly desirable.
  • This role requires a strong combination of programme delivery expertise, technology understanding, stakeholder management, commercial awareness and the ability to operate effectively in a complex financial-services environment.

Responsibilities

Project & Programme Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology projects/program from initiation through implementation and transition to operations.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, governance structures and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, delivery roadmaps, resource plans and implementation strategies.
  • Establish appropriate project governance, reporting, decision-making and escalation mechanisms.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk parameters.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and dependencies across business, technology, operations, data, security, risk, compliance and external vendors.

Technology Transformation & Migration

  • Lead large-scale technology transformation, integration and migration initiatives.
  • Manage migration activities involving applications, platforms, customer data, transactional data, interfaces, APIs and downstream/upstream systems.
  • Oversee migration planning, data reconciliation, testing, cutover, rollback planning, production implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Ensure comprehensive planning and execution of SIT, UAT, performance testing, security testing, operational readiness and production deployment.
  • Identify and manage technical dependencies, integration risks, data-quality issues and operational impacts.
  • Coordinate cutover and implementation activities across multiple technology and business teams.

Loyalty & Rewards Migration (Preferred)

  • Experience with loyalty programme or rewards platform implementation/migration.
  • Migration of loyalty points, rewards balances, member/customer accounts and associated transactional history.
  • Customer loyalty ecosystem transformation or consolidation.
  • Migration between legacy and modern loyalty/rewards platforms.
  • Integration of loyalty platforms with banking, credit-card, payments, CRM, customer-data, digital or marketing platforms.
  • Management of points accrual, redemption, expiry, adjustment, reconciliation and liability-related considerations.
  • Customer communication and operational readiness associated with loyalty programme migration.
  • Complex data migration and reconciliation involving high-volume customer and transaction data.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary delivery lead and point of coordination across senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with executives, business sponsors, technology leaders, product owners, architects, operations teams, risk/compliance teams and external partners.
  • Manage system integrators, technology vendors, software providers and other third-party partners.
  • Establish clear accountability, ownership, deliverables and service expectations across internal and external teams.
  • Facilitate steering committees, project governance forums, status reviews and executive-level presentations.
  • Communicate complex technology issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and decisions.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and develop mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Drive timely resolution of critical issues and escalate appropriately when required.
  • Manage cross-project and cross-programme dependencies.
  • Ensure appropriate governance of scope changes, project decisions and delivery impacts.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Own project budgets, forecasts, resource plans and financial tracking.
  • Manage project resources across multiple teams and locations.
  • Ensure effective allocation and utilization of internal and external resources.
  • Manage vendor commercials, statements of work, milestones and delivery commitments in partnership with procurement and relevant stakeholders.

Regulatory, Risk & Operational Considerations

  • Ensure project delivery complies with applicable financial-services policies, technology controls, security requirements, regulatory obligations and organizational standards.
  • Work closely with risk, compliance, information security, data governance, legal and audit teams where required.
  • Ensure operational readiness, business continuity, disaster recovery, support models and production handover are addressed before go-live.

Requirement

  • Strong experience in project governance, planning, risk management, financial management and executive reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage geographically distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, complex and highly regulated environment.
  • Experience delivering loyalty, rewards, customer engagement or customer data platform programmes.
  • Direct experience managing loyalty/rewards migration or platform consolidation projects.
  • Experience with migration of large customer and transactional datasets.
  • Experience in banking, credit cards, payments, wealth management or consumer financial services with large-scale system modernization and legacy-platform decommissioning.
  • Experience managing customer-facing technology transformation programmes.

Key Success Measures

  • Deliver complex technology programmes on time, within agreed budget and scope.
  • Successfully manage high-risk migration and transformation activities with minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure accurate and controlled migration of customer, loyalty, rewards and transactional data where applicable.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder confidence and effective executive-level communication.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies.
  • Ensure robust testing, cutover, operational readiness and post-production stabilization.
  • Deliver sustainable technology solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
