WearelookingtohireaVP,SoftwareDevelopmentManagerintheTechnologyorganizationThisrolewillfocusonLPL'sMoveMoneyplatform,requiringdeepunderstandingoffinancialtransactions,moneymovementworkflows,regulatorycompliance,andpaymentsystems.ThispositionwillhelpsolutionbusinessrequirementsanddeveloptechnologysolutionstosupportproductroadmapsandLPL'svision.Thispositionwillinvolveclosecollaborationwithbusinesspartners,Architects,QualityAssurance,ReleaseManagement,andtheChangeControlboardtoplan,design,developandimplementsolutionsfortheseneeds.

Responsibilities:

Thecandidateshouldbecapableofdesigninganddevelopingtimely,highqualityproducts,withstateoftheartuserinterfacestobestsolutiontheseneeds,andhavethedrivetoensurethatthevisionandsuccesscriteriaaremetwithinbudgetandscheduleconstraints.Thisis technology managerroleoverseeingateamofsoftwareengineers.

  • Design,develop,test,tuneandimplementn-tieredweb-basedapplicationswithfocusoncomplexUIandDatabasedevelopment
  • Build,troubleshoot,optimizeandimproveexistingandnewwebapplicationsandsystemssupportingmoneymovementandfinancialtransactionworkflows
  • Leadcross-functionalcollaborationsessionswithbusinesspartners,architects,andstakeholderstotranslatecomplexrequirementsintotechnicalsolutions.
  • Communicatetechnicalconceptsclearlytobothtechnicalandbusinessaudiences,adaptingcommunicationstyletoaudienceneeds.
  • Mentoranddevelopteammembersthrougheffectivecommunication,coaching,andtechnicalguidance.
  • Assistmanagementintechnicalassessmentofrisksandissues,anddocumentrecommendations.
  • SupporttheproductionoftechnicaldocumentationinaccordancewithSDLCguidelines.
  • Communicatewithtechnicalandnon-technicalgroupsonaregularbasisaspartofproduct/projectsupport.
  • Developsolutionsaccordingtoenterprisestandards.
  • Presentsolutionsincodereviewmeetingsandarchitecturereviewboards
  • Designanddevelopcoreservicesandcomponentswithexpertiseinservice-orientedarchitecture.
  • Providetechnicaltroubleshootingandadvanceddebugsupport.
  • Evaluatenewdesignproposals,investigateandrecommendsolutionsandprocessimprovementsthatdeliverserviceswithhighscalabilityandperformance.
  • LeverageAI/MLtechnologiesandmoderndevelopmenttoolstoenhancedeveloperproductivity,

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, IT or related field

5+ years of experience managing team/s of direct reports

7+ years of .NET experience

5+ years SQL server experience

3+ year(s) AWS experience

AI/ML experience is MUST


Pay Range:

$155,300.00 - $258,800.00


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
