Job Description
My client is a leader in the field of providing extended network coverage by creating a virtual network connection. There marketplace has historically been focused on Datacentres but now they have seen success in the evolvement of Telco.
5G is where the money is being spent and they are investing heavily in growing a global resource and delivery function. The parent company has been around for more than 20 years with a T/O exceeding $100m. So they have strong financial backing and leverage.
With that they are looking to hire a VP Sales APAC, the role will initially be a manager / mentor to the existing team and ensure targets are met and a healthy pipeline is in place. You should be an expert in all things Telco with a strong network across the service providers as well as third party system integrators.
You will report directly into the VP Global Sales based in the USA, you will hold full autonomy for the region including a virtual P&L. Your remit will be to grow sales and with that to build a sales team.
Ideally you will have a mixture of hardware and software sales experience, coupled with an eye for detail as the sales cycle is quite technical.
