Job Purpose

The Vice President, ACO and Government Programs reports to the Head of Sales, leading revenue generation and business development efforts in the ACO & Government System verticals with focus on cultivating key executive relationships and leading new business in Accountable Care Organizations, Health Systems, and related government channels.. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in selling technology-enabled and/or clinical solutions toACOs and health systems directly and via channel partnerships. This experience will be furthered by the candidate’s relationships with key decision makers responsible for making these purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Welldoc’s revenue generation and business development strategy and execution in the ACO & Government Systems vertical
  • Leverage your current relationships with key executives to expand current and create new sales opportunities
  • Cultivate and build new relationships with ACOs, health system, and related government channels.
  • Consult executives and stakeholders to create new sales opportunities
  • Measure and analyze current revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize our business growth and revenue strategy
  • Identify new, innovative ways to grow Welldoc’s business partnerships

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of proven experience leading business growth in the ACO, Health System and Government System markets.
  • Proven success selling multi-year, technology-enabled contracts (>$500K in contract value)
  • Established relationships with key executives with purchasing decision authority
  • Experience in selling telehealth, digital heath or value-based care solution
  • Ability to develop and execute on ambitious growth and sales targets
  • Results oriented – holds themselves accountable for short- and long-term success
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Flexible on travel

Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Education

  • BS or BA Degree recommended
  • Active memberships in organizations such as ACHE, HFMA (preferred but not required)

Compensation & Benefits

Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits. and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts

The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000-$380,000/year inclusive of base salary and meeting 100% of team sales objectives.

Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company’s customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered all applicable laws.
