Position Overview:

This role provides senior leadership and ownership of the functions that safeguard product integrity and the operating environment: Quality, Compliance (Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Safety and regulatory conformance), Security, and Facilities. The position is accountable for ensuring that products consistently meet quality specifications, that operations remain fully compliant with regulatory and safety standards, that the site and its products are secure, and that facilities are maintained to support a reliable 24/7 manufacturing environment. The role establishes clear metrics and ownership across these areas and reports performance to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure conformance to customer, product, and industry specifications.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance of operations with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and applicable safety standards in accordance with New Jersey law. Own audits, certifications, and documentation, and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, auditors, and customers on compliance matters. Identify potential risks and pitfalls (e.g., equipment failures or other disruptions) and develop strategies to mitigate these issues through process improvement, alternative suppliers of materials, or altered equipment.
  • Security: Oversee physical and product security programs consistent with the company's trust and authentication mission. Establish and enforce protocols to protect raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, and sensitive assets throughout the facility and supply chain. Ensure operations meet payment-industry and customer security requirements, and manage security personnel and access controls across all shifts.
  • Accountability: Own the key performance indicators and reporting for quality, compliance, security, and facilities. Establish clear ownership, metrics, and dashboards, report performance to senior management, and foster a culture of accountability across the organization. Manage a team of approximately 35 people across 7 shifts supporting QA, Safety & Security.
  • Facilities: Oversee facility operations, maintenance, and environmental health and safety of the buildings, grounds, and utilities. Ensure facilities are maintained to support a reliable 24/7 manufacturing environment, manage facility vendors and contractors, and lead facility-related capital projects, space planning, and safe-workplace initiatives.
