VP Project Management & Engineering W/M

Responsibilities:

• Guide and support Project Studies delivering value optimisation & clear objectives
• Maintain high levels of engineering & project delivery excellence
• Ensure transparent and effective project governance & reporting
• Add value and reduce delivery risk through coordinating effective project reviews
• Implement robust project documentation & knowledge management processes
• Drive project delivery process improvement & standards development
• Project portfolio management & prioritization

About You:

Education

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (required).
• Advanced degree or project management certification (PMP, PMI or equivalent) is a distinct advantage.

Experience & Expertise

• 20+ years of progressive experience in project management and engineering in an international environment, with a proven track record of delivering large, complex capital projects in industrial sectors (mining, metals, chemicals, energy or heavy industry strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience engaging with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• In-depth expertise across the key disciplines of the full project lifecycle: from early-stage studies, engineering and FID through to execution, controls, commissioning and ramp-up and completion.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, capital allocation, risk management and portfolio management principles.
• Hands-on experience working with EPC and EPCM contractors from conceptual phase through to execution and completion.
