Forterro is seeking a Vice President of Professional Services to lead and further develop the Professional Services organisation for its MME Business across Europe.
This is a highly strategic and visible role with direct impact on customer success, operational excellence, financial performance, and long‑term transformation.

The VP Professional Services will oversee a European organisation of 300 employees located in Sweden, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Poland, representing a €40M budget
This hybrid role offers flexibility while requiring strong engagement across multiple countries and teams.
You will be responsible for driving delivery excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, orchestrating transformation initiatives, shaping the strategic direction, and leading high‑performing teams across several Lines of Business.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a multicultural Professional Services organisation of 300 people.
  • Directly manage a leadership team of 5 managers
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  • Drive organisational evolution towards new delivery standards and operating models.
  • Own revenue and margin forecasting for the Professional Services organisation.
  • Build, manage, and optimise budgets and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure high-quality delivery and profitability.
  • Improve operational processes to support scalable growth.
  • Shape the Professional Services strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead transformation initiatives including:
    • Cloud migration
    • Transition toward recurring revenue models
    • Development of AI capabilities
    • Evolution and standardisation of the delivery model
  • Support business integration and the development of new service offerings.
  • Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction across all regions.
  • Promote delivery quality, reliability, and long-term customer value.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

You are a strategic, analytical, and financially minded leader with strong experience in planning, budgeting, and steering large organisations. You have a proven track record of managing and inspiring high‑performing, multicultural teams, and you know how to guide managers and experts through change, transformation, and evolving delivery standards. You bring solid communication skills, sound decision‑making, and a pragmatic problem‑solving mindset that make you a trusted business partner at executive level.
Your background ideally includes experience in the industrial or software solutions market, giving you a strong understanding of how Professional Services operate in complex environments. You have also contributed to integrating or developing new businesses, demonstrating your ability to scale operations and support growth. You are comfortable working in hybrid and international settings, collaborating both remotely and on site, and you are familiar with leading teams across multiple regions.
You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with a Master’s degree considered an advantage. Fluency in English is essential to operate in our European organisation, and additional languages are a plus. Finally, you bring practical experience applying AI in a Professional Services context, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to our transformation initiatives.
