We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President Pricing Operations

In this role, you will:

  • Establish a robust and comprehensive ongoing control and operating environment model for processes (For the particular Client), to ensure delivery of high-quality market data to consumers.
  • Maximize usage and quality of in-scope market data; Deliver new control and governance standards for market data and maintain existing controls; Assess, understand and ensure effective touch points with parallel dependencies including Aladdin / Multifonds.
  • Own and oversee Middle Office pricing processes supporting Aladdin, ensuring accurate, complete and timely delivery of prices/rates/curves into Aladdin to support valuation and downstream consumers; Own and oversee the IABOR pricing process to support the NAV fund accounting process (Multifonds), ensuring validated pricing inputs are delivered within NAV timelines and aligned to valuation policies and controls.
  • Partner with Fund Accounting / NAV teams, Multifonds SMEs and relevant technology teams to define and maintain pricing cut-offs, exception handling, escalation paths, reconciliations and evidencing for Aladdin and IABOR pricing feeds.
  • Drive end-to-end issue management and root-cause remediation for Aladdin/IABOR pricing breaks (e.g., missing/stale prices, vendor outages, mapping/security master issues), ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence; Work seamlessly and collaboratively representing DARR with businesses and functions in appropriate forums and ongoing communications.
  • Encourage and champion the importance of a positive end customer experience, recognizing the wider importance of Markets Operations, contributing to a controlled and efficient end-to-end operational model.
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our end users and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets; Be accountable for managing client escalations & issues for derived Pricing clients across regions; Support the existing Market Data Management team and improve the existing framework to make it more robust.
  • Enable an effective communication channel with clients across all relevant regions; Ensure client feedback is shared with the operations team, where appropriate, and follow through to closure on any actions required; Own all client queries/issues/complaints and communicate resolution with full details in a timely manner.
  • Provide expert problem management support to difficult, high profile client issues and ensure root-cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with lessons learnt; Provide support to new business opportunities. Take an active role in liaising with relationship managers and clients and support the transition and implementation of new business. Champion knowledge sharing and promote the increased use of Shared Services capability.
  • The role will require strong technical, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders and customers globally. The role will require innovation, creativity and strong delivery focus within a structured and well controlled operating environment.

To be successful you will -

  • Strong client focus - ability to operate at prime customer contact level typically at Vice President/Director level; Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working on the Aladdin application.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of Aladdin Middle Office pricing/valuation data flows, including controls, governance and exception management; Strong end-to-end knowledge of funds and NAV / Reconciliations & Valuations; Strong understanding of IABOR pricing processes and their linkage to NAV fund accounting (Multifonds), including cut-offs, validations, breaks management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrates breadth and depth of operational service delivery management expertise, preferably in an international environment; Thorough understanding of customer's business and market sector and able to use that knowledge to anticipate how future service offers need to evolve to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to recognize difficulties with and, if required, challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement; to analyse problems and create solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology and methodology tools.
  • Strong in handling high-pressure production issues, leading triage, coordinating stakeholders, and restoring service within agreed timelines; Strong co-ordination skills across multiple teams and departments to drive issue resolution end-to-end; Strong communicator at all levels.
  • An experienced tenured AVP or VP in a strong client focus environment and operational processes; Ability & experience to manage significant escalations and thrive under pressure; A positive self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Experience of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with Clients, management & colleagues to achieve shared goals; Evidence of making sound decisions in a complex operational environment
  • Evidence of excellent planning and organizing skills; Analytical skills, with good problem-solving skills & ability to recognize areas of risk or opportunities for improvement; Exposure to projects and an understanding of process mapping and process re-engineering.
  • Experience in Banking; Market Data/Curve construction knowledge across multiple products; Exposure to Multiple vendor systems such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv & other vendor systems; Flexibility in shifts
