The VP, Practice Operations (Mid-Atlantic) is a key driver of LifeStance's mission to improve patient access to high quality mental healthcareThis position will drive operational and financial effectiveness andownday-to-day responsibility for the operational performance, financialresults, and servicedeliveryin theirassignedregion. TheVP, Practice Operationsis expected to provide strategic and tactical leadership, coaching, and direction totheirfieldleadershipand clinicians of their region.
Additionally, this positionidentifiesand develops strategic growth opportunities,monitorsregional performance, and works closely withcorporate and shared servicesteams to develop competitive strategies in alignment with LFST’s mission and values. This position has budget and financial performance accountability and is a key member of LFST’sPracticeOperations leadership team.

Serve as executive leader with teams to buildlocal referral source relationships and awareness/knowledge of competition; proactively assess local strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence
Responsible forfinancial managementof the assigned region, including revenue, center margin and EBITDA targets asestablishedin partnership with Operations leadership
Partner and collaborate with shared services teams to ensure comprehensive clinician and patient support and effective delivery of mental health services
Partner and collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to promote local awareness of LFST brand, strengthen relationships with local referral source partners, andultimately increaselocal patient access to LFST services
Accountable for monthly monitoring and report out of assigned key performance indicators, including variance reporting and action plans to meet established objectives
Accountable for regional goals set by annual operating plan/key performance indicatorsidentified
Work collaboratively in partnership withinLifeStanceleadership to contribute to process improvements, tools, or resources to enhance the customer and patient experience
Responsible for strategy execution of assigned geographicregion; manageteam leaders on initiativerollout and operational/process changes and updates
Accountable for retention of all team members in the assignedregionthrough regular engagement, mentoring, coaching, and performance management;provide coaching support to local teams to mitigate retention risks and promote retention
Drive a strong culture and environment that will support and enable all team members to be successfulFoster accountability, teamwork and mutual trust and respect for all team members through mentoring and coaching activities
Ensure adequate staffing levels and resources across all facilities and programs, managing recruitment, training, and retention strategies

Staff Performance and Support
Provide outstanding leadership for geographically dispersed team, recruit key hires, and implement training and cross training to strengthen service offerings
Responsible for developinga high levelof excellence with the administrative and operations staff of assigned geographic state
Responsible for regularly engaging with Direct Reports and skip level teammates tosolicitfeedback, mentor, engage (e.g., educate on career progression path
Clinician Performance and Support
Partner and collaborate with Clinical/Medical Leadershipdyadsto ensure clinical team is trained onappropriate clinicalpolicies and best practices and has local operational support to effectively deliver care
Accountable for cliniciangrowth and hiring(execute hiring goal, reduce turnover, support national onboarding efforts); work with local teams to ensure patient and clinician satisfaction andhigh levelof service excellence
Troubleshoot and triage potential issues toidentifyroot cause
EXPERIENCE&REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree Required;Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administrationpreferred, or significant (12+ years) healthcare operations experiencerequired
10+ years of operational management within a healthcare setting
Subject matterexpertisewith clinical operationsDemonstrated Financial Performance Management with past success driving P&L performance across a geographically dispersed region
Exceptional team and staff level engagement
Experience leading a diverse team witha track recordfor hiring, coaching, andretainingstrong talent
Microsoft Office Experience; Strong Excel and PowerPoint
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to improve business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements
Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture
Travel isrequiredfor this position.The role involves regular travel to facilities within the region, as well as domestic travel for leadership meetings.Candidates should be comfortable with occasional overnight stays and flexible scheduling to accommodate travel needs.

COMPENSATION: $185,000 - 215,000/annually, with annual bonus potential.
LifeStance provides the compensation range and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
