Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Strategic, innovative, and energetic senior leader with expertise in all aspects of the planning process within a multi-channel wholesale and DTC organization. Has experience in business planning and management with a keen focus around Retail Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting (sales and margin), Inventory management, Merchandise and Assortment Planning. Other areas of experience would include Demand planning, and E-commerce. Demonstrates the ability to envision and implement end-to-end planning processes that drive cost effective process improvement. Has the ability to build relationships cross functionally, and lead change within a complex organization. Resourcefulness and agility will be key as you work with multiple business leads, planners and merchandising associates to analyze and incorporate retail trends, develop and manage complex projects, and deliver financial targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create new organizational processes to support the financial objectives of the division
  • Implement standard tools, key measures and metrics, and standard operating procedures to improve data integrity and information
  • Business lead across planning, buying, and allocation to drive sales, margin, and inventory objectives
  • Implement key sales management and planning tools to support the commercial teams
  • Responsible for managing the monthly/annual sales, gross margin and inventory forecast processes for the division, including product category planning
  • Influence product and assortment strategies through collaboration with Sales, Design and Merchandising to accommodate the needs of all business channels
  • Partner closely with Production and Sourcing teams to align inventory flow with demand forecasts, lead times, and delivery schedules to avoid stockouts or overproduction
  • Participate in product reviews with sales, merchandising, and design teams to ensure alignment with financial plans.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to build and manage store level sales and margin plans
  • Responsible for managing the Merchandise Financial planning, Assortment Planning, and Buy process for the division, including product lifecycle calendars, and replenishment planning
  • Lead discussions on business drivers, delivery performance and promotions with commercial partners on a weekly basis
  • Provide key decision support and analysis to Senior Executives in Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations highlighting sales, inventory, and gross margin risks and opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives that drive process improvements, standardization, and best practices aligned to accommodate the complexities of the business.
  • Lead ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support executive inquiries, decision-making, and cross-functional planning initiatives

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
  • 10+ years’ experience in planning and merchandising
  • Recent/current experience planning for a multi-channel apparel or CPG business is required
  • Both DTC and Wholesale experience is preferred
  • Must be able to lead, train, mentor, and engage with planning teams, sales teams, and other cross functional partners

Salary Range: $195,000 - $250,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
