Vice President, Permanency
EMPOWER’s Community Based Care program includes services to families that support the safety, permanency, and well-being of children in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). As the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) in Metroplex East (formerly referred to as Region 3E), EMPOWER will ensure the full range of services, which includes foster and kinship care, purchased services, case management, and reunification services. EMPOWER will fully engage the community to help achieve positive outcomes for children.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or Other Human services degree with at least five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in the administration of a Foster Care and/or Family Preservation/Reunification Program or the equivalent.
Benefits:
As a Vice President of Permanency, you will be directing and managing all program activities and performance outcomes related to the Permanency Division of EMPOWER. This position develops, manages, and evaluates program services, guidelines, procedures, policies, activities, and budget information. The position works with communities, elected officials, administrative staff in other agencies providing services to abused and neglected children and their families, judicial, legal, and law enforcement personnel, medical and treatment professionals as well as fiscal, human resources, business management, and Quality Assurance divisions within TFI Family Services. The position interacts routinely with Texas Department of Family Protective Services (DFPS) staff including State Office CPS division, regional staff, and other stakeholders.
