Based in our Paris office and reporting directly to the CEO, the VP People will lead Vestiaire Collective’s global People organization
The People function is structured around four core pillars, each led by experienced domain leads who own the strategy and execution of their respective areas:
Talent Acquisition
HR Operations & Payroll
HR Business Partnering
Workplace
As VP People, your role will be to lead the People organization whose role is to enable the business functions to over-achieve their objectives
Vestiaire Collective operates in a fast-moving and evolving environment, In this context, the VP People will play a key role in bringing clarity, consistency and strong People practices while remaining adaptable to changing business needs.
Define and drive Vestiaire Collective’s global People strategy and our long term vision, supporting the company’s business priorities and international footprint
Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational planning, leadership effectiveness and workforce strategy
Lead and develop the People leadership team across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations & Payroll, HR Business Partnering and Workplace, worldwide
Support and empower domain leads who own the strategy and roadmap for their respective functions
Ensure strong alignment and collaboration across all People pillars
Foster a strong leadership culture within the People team and support the growth of your direct reports
Partner with Business Leadership to ensure teams are structured and supported to achieve their business objectives
Support leaders in building high-performing teams and strong management practices
Master internal communication to make the organisational changes understood by the teams
Partner with HR Operations leadership to continuously improve processes, tools and operational efficiency, including onboarding, contract management, payroll coordination and HR systems
Oversee the global HR operations and payroll framework, ensuring reliable and efficient processes across all regions
Ensure compliance with employment regulations across Vestiaire Collective’s international footprint
Oversee the company’s global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring hiring practices support the long-term needs of the organization
Partner with the Talent Acquisition lead to maintain high standards of quality of hire and diversity
Support strategic and leadership hiring across the company when needed
Ensure the Workplace function supports a productive, collaborative and engaging work environment across offices, partnering with the Lead
Oversee workplace strategy across Vestiaire Collective’s global locations
Ensure workplace practices contribute to a strong and consistent employee experience
Own and evolve key People programs including performance management, compensation philosophy and leadership development
Ensure fair, transparent and consistent people practices across the organization
Coach senior leaders on team management, difficult conversations and leadership development
12+ years of HR / People experience, with significant experience (7+ years) in leadership roles
Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary People teams, including functions such as Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or HR Business Partnering
Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a strategic partner to executive leadership
Experience working in international organizations
Strong organizational design and change management capabilities
Solid understanding of core HR topics including:
compensation and rewards
performance management
employment law
HR operations and payroll
Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders
Direct, transparent communication style with strong leadership presence
