Job Description

Atera is actively seeking a seasoned senior-level executive to join our team as the VP Partnerships and Alliances. The VP Partnerships and Alliances will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships and alliances.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully devising and executing partnership strategies, establishing robust relationships with channel partners, and cultivating revenue growth through collaborative initiatives.

As the VP Partnerships and Alliances, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach, driving revenue growth, and nurturing mutually advantageous relationships with key partners. Reporting directly to the VP of Global Sales, this role occupies a pivotal position within our sales leadership.

  • Assume complete ownership of the partnerships business sales, overseeing the entire spectrum from formulating strategies to execution.
  • Oversee the implementation of partnership KPIs for existing partners while devising short & long-term strategies for existing and new partners to strengthen the business unit.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, marketing, customer success, RD, and legal teams to facilitate effective partner onboarding, enhance partner experiences, drive partner success, and streamline go-to-market activities through valuable content, training, and coaching.
  • Lead by example, embodying a customer-centric approach and cultivating a culture of high performance within the partnerships team.

Partnership Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Atera's business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Identify and assess potential strategic partners, channel sales opportunities, and alliances, that can augment our product offerings, market presence, and revenue growth.

Partner Development and Management:

  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with our strategic partners, channel sales partners, and alliances across various levels, from executive leadership to operational teams.
  • Collaborate with our partners to pinpoint joint business prospects, formulate go-to-market strategies, and execute collaborative sales and marketing initiatives.

Revenue Generation and Growth:

  • Propel revenue growth through effective partnership, channel sales strategies, partner enablement programs, and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the revenue teams to devise and implement partner sales programs, incentives, and training to optimize partner engagement and sales performance.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' demonstrated experience in a hyper-growth SaaS B2B software company, specializing in partnership development, channel sales, or strategic alliances in a leadership capacity (A Must Requirement ).
  • At least 5 years in a managerial, quota-carrying role within a hyper-growth SaaS B2B software company, showcasing measurable results in sales growth ( A Must Requirement).
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly quotas of at least $10M annually (A Must Requirement).
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, enabling identification and capitalization of market opportunities.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Profound understanding of technology, business processes, and product life cycles.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage intricate projects and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrating the capacity to inspire and motivate others.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in autonomous work, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
