We’re looking for a high-impact operations leader, Vice President of Operations Support to drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the support functions that power Aptive’s field organization. This role serves as a key operational partner to executive leadership, ensuring field teams have the products, systems, resources, and infrastructure needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences at scale.
The VP of Operations Support will oversee Product Management & Innovation, Quality Assurance, Fleet Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations Technology, while establishing the systems, processes, and controls necessary to support growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Own and evolve the company’s Operations Support to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Collaborate with executive and functional leaders to align support functions with company objectives and field operational needs.
Lead and develop high-performing teams across Product Management & Innovation, Quality Assurance, Fleet, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations Technology.
Establish and maintain policies, procedures, controls, and governance practices across all areas of responsibility.
Drive performance through KPIs, reporting, operational scorecards, and accountability measures.
Partner with Operations leaders to improve technician utilization, service efficiency, route optimization and workforce productivity.
Direct the development, evaluation, and lifecycle management of products, tools, and services to ensure effectiveness, safety, and compliance.
Establish and enforce quality assurance standards, audit programs, and operational compliance protocols.
Lead fleet operations, including safety, utilization, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost management.
Oversee procurement, inventory management, vendor partnerships, and supply chain operations to ensure continuity and scalability.
Partner with Technology teams to implement and optimize systems that improve operational efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
Ensure data integrity, system adoption, and effective use of operational technologies across the organization.
Identify operational, legal, financial, and compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Support internal audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries as needed.
Build scalable support infrastructure to support seasonal growth, acquisitions, and long-term organizational expansion.
Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines across Field Support functions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Operations, Field Support or related functions.
7+ years leading leaders within complex, multi-location, service-based, or field operations environments.
Proven experience overseeing multiple operational support functions simultaneously.
Experience building scalable operational processes, controls, and infrastructure in high-growth organizations.
Strong understanding of product management, quality assurance, fleet operations, supply chain management, and business systems.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining operational compliance.
Data-driven decision maker with experience leveraging analytics to identify trends and improve performance.
Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities.
Experience implementing technology solutions, automation, and operational improvements at scale.
