About the Role
One Park Financial is seeking a Vice President of Sales to serve as the senior-most leader of our sales organization in Santo Domingo. This is an executive role responsible for the overall health, direction, and output of OPF's sales operation — overseeing a multi-tiered leadership structure that includes Directors, Senior Managers, and their respective teams.
The VP of Sales owns the performance culture of the entire sales floor: from the systems and frameworks that govern how we measure success, to the leadership pipeline that ensures we always have the talent to sustain it. This person is a strategic partner to the C-suite, a builder of world-class sales organizations, and a hands-on executive who leads by example.
We are looking for someone who has done this before — who has scaled sales teams, built performance infrastructure from the ground up, and knows what it takes to maintain excellence at speed and volume in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the full performance trajectory of our sales organization — setting the vision, establishing standards, and holding the leadership team accountable to results.
- Lead a multi-layered sales leadership structure (Directors, Senior Managers, Managers) and develop each level into stronger, more capable leaders.
- Design and own the company-wide sales performance architecture: KPIs, performance tiers, compensation frameworks, coaching systems, and accountability structures.
- Partner with the executive team and C-suite to translate company revenue goals into operational sales strategies, headcount plans, and performance roadmaps.
- Drive continuous improvement across all sales metrics — conversion rates, pipeline velocity, rep productivity, ramp times, and retention — through data-led decisions and structural interventions.
- Build and sustain a high-performance, high-accountability culture that balances urgency with development, and results with people investment.
- Oversee the sales training and enablement function, ensuring every rep and manager has the skills, tools, and knowledge to perform at their peak.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Operations, Technology, Finance, and Business Development to ensure the sales organization is equipped, aligned, and efficient.
- Establish and monitor forecasting and reporting standards to provide executive leadership with reliable, real-time visibility into sales health.
- Represent our sales organization in global leadership forums, strategic planning sessions, and board-level reporting as required.
- Serve as the final decision-maker on escalations, performance actions, and organizational design within the sales function.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in senior or executive sales leadership roles.
- Proven experience building and scaling high-performance sales organizations — ideally in a high-volume outbound or fintech environment.
- Track record of leading leaders: managing Directors and Senior Managers, not just individual contributors or front-line managers.
- Deep expertise in sales performance systems — scorecards, incentive design, pipeline management, forecasting, and talent development frameworks.
- Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution across a large, multi-tiered organization.
- Executive-level communication skills — able to present clearly and credibly to C-suite, board stakeholders, and international teams.
- Advanced English required (fully bilingual — English and Spanish).
- Strong analytical ability — experienced with CRM platforms, BI tools, and performance dashboards at an organizational level.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field required; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, alternative lending, or merchant cash advance preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a large-scale sales operation in a nearshore or offshore environment in coordination with a U.S.-based headquarters.
- Background in organizational design, sales compensation strategy, or talent architecture.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks applicable to financial services sales organizations.
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Performance-based incentives
- Health insurance
- Growth and development opportunities
- Dynamic and collaborative work environment
- Company events and team-building activities
