Our award-winning client is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join their team. They seek an adept VP-level Sales professional to spearhead essential aspects of its growing operations. This pivotal role fosters account origination, drives sales and contributes to organizational expansion, particularly in the commercial energy sales and LED lighting industry.
Responsibilities:
Originate and engage potential new business aligned with target markets.
Foster active communication and relationships with clients to drive multi-site sales.
Cultivate a network of Key Decision Maker and Business Owner-level relationships to commercialize partnerships and drive sales.
Collaborate with channel partners to generate viable customer leads, providing regular reports to the COO on key metrics.
Provide growth KPI reports to the COO, ensuring alignment with the agreed Business Plan.
Collaborate with partners to identify and supply viable customer leads.
Subject Matter Expert in commercial energy retrofits and technical communication.
Experience Background:
8-10+ years in the commercial energy sales industry, with 5 years in front-end Business Development.
In-depth knowledge of the sector(s) with a proven track record of success.
A strong network of decision-makers and a commitment to expanding it.
Understanding of key business drivers in targeted sectors.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Team player with influential abilities internally and externally.
Problem-solving skills in negotiating with various stakeholders.
Highly numerate with proficiency in MS Excel.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the USA.
